Brake Failure Causes Multi-Vehicle Collision on Islamabad’s Faisal Avenue

ISLAMABAD: A traffic accident occurred on Faisal Avenue when several vehicles collided after the brakes of an Islamic University bus reportedly failed. The incident took place near Sector F-7, where the route was partially blocked at the time.

According to initial reports, around six vehicles were damaged in the crash, and several students sustained injuries. The bus, carrying more than 70 students, was heading toward Sector H-8 when the driver lost control due to brake failure.

Witnesses said the speeding bus veered onto the green belt in an attempt to avoid a more serious collision. Fortunately, no major casualties were reported.

Police arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and have initiated legal proceedings. Traffic flow on Faisal Avenue was temporarily halted on one side while rescue and investigation teams managed the situation.
