Web Desk: Pakistan has finalized a comprehensive plan for 12 districts severely affected by terrorism, with authorities ruling out any mass displacement of residents as security forces prepare to intensify intelligence-based operations, Federal Minister Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said.
Federal Minister said the government would focus on targeted operations against terrorists while ensuring that residents remain in their communities.
The minister said authorities had decided against relocating people from any of the 12 affected districts as part of the security plan.
Instead, the government will seek to counter militant threats through intelligence-led measures designed to identify and target terrorist networks while limiting disruption to civilian life.
According to Federal Minister , security forces will use their full capabilities to conduct intelligence-based operations against terrorists.
The approach is expected to prioritize actionable intelligence and targeted action rather than large-scale population displacement.
The government has been facing persistent security challenges in several parts of the country, particularly areas where militant activity has placed pressure on civilian communities and security institutions.
The decision to avoid displacement reflects an effort to combine counterterrorism measures with the need to protect normal life in affected districts.
Meanwhile, the authorities are expected to implement the plan through coordinated security and intelligence operations, with the stated aim of disrupting terrorist activity while keeping local populations in place.
Federal Minister’s remarks indicate that the government intends to pursue a more targeted security response as Pakistan steps up efforts to contain terrorism in its most affected districts.
