RAW linked Journalist Aditya Raj Kaul voices support for the Public Action Committee, a prohibited organization under the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Terrorism Act 2014.
According to his post on X Aditya Raj has made some biased and sensational claim that Pakistani authorities are preparing to use force against civilians across Pakistan-administered Kashmir by restricting tourism, limiting internet access, and banning certain organizations remain.
Pakistani officials strongly rejected such illogical and propagandist claims by stating that such measures are implemented for security reasons, and public safety in the face of upcoming elections in AJK.
Apart from this the government has banned the Awami Action Committee on reasonable grounds. The committee has been involved in activities including terrorism, undermining law and order, intimidating the public, spreading hatred, creating unrest in the region, and fostering a sense of insecurity in society.
According to the government, the activities of the Public Action Committee have been deemed harmful to peace, security, and public safety in the region, leading to its inclusion in the First Schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act 2014.
It is worth noting that AJK Police have arrested at least 72 leaders and members of the banned Public Action Committee during the last 18 hours over allegations of disrupting peace, creating anarchy and contacts with anti-state elements.
According to a police statement, the arrested individuals face various charges, including damaging public property, delivering provocative speeches, blocking public roads, and disrupting the daily lives of citizens. The police said all actions are being carried out in accordance with the law.
