Court orders arrest of Talal Chaudhry

The Magistrate Court under Section 30 has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for 51 people, including former and current members of the National Assembly and provincial assembly, as well as ministers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

According to the court order, a case was registered against the accused at Factory Area Police Station in 2019. The accused have been charged with blocking a road and attempting to damage property.

The court has ordered the SHO of Factory Area Police Station to arrest all the accused and produce them before the court on October 12.

Those facing arrest warrants include Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, Haji Akram Ansari, Rao Kashif Rahim and PML-N leader Musadik Malik.

Other nominated individuals include MNA Shehbaz Babar, former parliamentarians Ejaz Waris and Mian Abdul Mannan, as well as Sheikh Ejaz Ahmed.

The list also includes MPA Jafar Ali Hocha, Haji Akram Ansari, Faqir Hussain Dogar, Mehr Hamid Rashid, Mian Javed Latif and Mian Qasim Farooq.

The court has directed the police to arrest the accused and produce them before the court on the scheduled date.
