COLOMBO: The Pakistan Blind Women’s Cricket Team secured a place in the semi-finals of the inaugural Blind Women’s T20 Cricket World Cup 2025 after defeating Australia.
With a total of four points, Pakistan finished third on the points table.
In their fourth league match, Pakistan batted first and posted an imposing total of 298 runs for the loss of two wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Mehreen Ali led the innings with a brilliant 133 runs. Bushra Ashraf added 59, Maryam Jahangir contributed 13, and Ramsha Shabbir scored 12 runs.

Chasing the target, the Australia Blind Women’s Cricket Team managed 169 runs for five wickets in their 20 overs. Courtney Lys remained unbeaten with an impressive 95, while Courtney Webeck scored 35.
For Pakistan, Mehreen Ali also excelled with the ball, taking two wickets.
The Pakistan Blind Women’s team will play their final league match tomorrow against the United States.
