Fake Reports of Large-Scale Operations in KP’s Merged Districts Debunked
Certain elements on social media are attempting to spread reports claiming that, following the possible imposition of an emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, preparations are underway to launch large-scale operations in some areas of the merged districts.
These reports are completely baseless and fake.
Intelligence-based operations (IBOs) are conducted on a daily basis in accordance with ground realities and threat assessments, as has been the normal practice in the past.
Reports regarding the launch of any new large-scale operation are fabricated and fake, aimed at unnecessarily spreading panic and creating concern among the local population.
