Web Desk: The Consulate General of Pakistan in New York will remain closed to the public on Monday, Oct. 12, 2026, in observance of Columbus Day, suspending all consular services for the day.
According to a notice issued by the consulate, all public-facing consular operations will remain suspended during the holiday.
As a result, Pakistani nationals and other visitors who require consular assistance are advised to plan their visits accordingly and make arrangements around the temporary closure.
The consulate said it would resume normal office operations on Tuesday, Oct. 13, following the holiday.
Meanwhile, applicants seeking consular services should take the closure into account when scheduling appointments or planning visits to the mission.
The announcement concerns the consulate’s public services in New York and does not indicate any broader change to its regular operating schedule.
