Suzuki Fronx launch Pakistan

Web Desk: Suzuki launched the highly anticipated Fronx crossover in Pakistan on Wednesday, introducing four distinct variants to compete in the country’s rapidly expanding sport utility vehicle segment.

The official debut follows months of speculation after the vehicle first appeared as a showpiece at the Pakistan Auto Show. Suzuki aims to strengthen its market share through this launch as competition intensifies among local and international automakers offering crossover models.

Prices for the new lineup start at Rs. 5,999,999 for the GL manual transmission variant. The GL automatic model follows at Rs. 6,099,999, while the premium GLX 6-speed automatic variants are priced at Rs. 6,299,999 for the mono-tone and Rs. 6,374,999 for the two-tone finish.

Regarding performance, the flagship GLX variant features a 1.5-litre mild hybrid engine. This powertrain delivers 99 horsepower and 135 Nm of torque through a 6-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, Suzuki equipped the interior with modern amenities including a 9-inch infotainment display, paddle shifters, cruise control, and dedicated rear air conditioning vents to enhance passenger comfort.

Safety remains a primary focus for the new model. The vehicle includes six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and Hill Hold Control. Additionally, drivers will benefit from LED headlamps with an auto on/off function, a reverse camera, and rear parking sensors.

Consequently, the introduction of the Fronx positions Suzuki to better challenge established players in the crossover category. This move reflects a broader industry shift toward hybrid technology and feature-rich compact SUVs in the Pakistani automotive landscape.
