Prize bonds are a popular and secure means of investment in Pakistan, giving investors an opportunity to win cash prizes without any financial loss, while prize bond draws are held regularly throughout the year.

Any Pakistani citizen can purchase prize bonds by submitting an application form along with a copy of their valid CNIC at any SBP-BSC office, designated commercial bank branches, or National Savings Centres.

The Central Directorate of National Savings has announced that the draws for Rs. 100 and Rs. 1,500 prize bonds will be held on the same day, August 17, 2026.

The draw for the Rs. 1,500 prize bond will be held in Faisalabad, while the draw for the Rs. 100 prize bond will be held in Multan. On this occasion, thousands of applicants are hoping to win substantial prize money.

For the Rs. 1,500 prize bond, the first prize of Rs. 3,000,000 (30 lakh) will be awarded to one lucky winner.

Second Prize: Three lucky winners will receive Rs. 1,000,000 (10 lakh) each.

Third Prize: A total of 1,696 lucky winners will receive Rs. 18,500 each.

For the Rs. 100 prize bond, the first prize of Rs. 700,000 will be awarded to one lucky winner.

Second Prize: Three lucky winners will receive Rs. 200,000 each.

Third Prize: A total of 1,199 lucky winners will receive Rs. 1,000 each.

All bondholders whose prize bonds were issued at least 60 days before the draw date can participate in the draw.

As soon as the results are announced, citizens can visit the official National Savings website to search for their prize bond number or download the complete list.

Tax Rate

The applicable withholding tax rates will apply to the prize money, with a 15 percent tax deduction for filers, while the percentage tax deduction for non-filers is not specified in the provided text.
