Another electric SUV enters Pakistan! Jaecoo J5 officially launched

Web Desk: Pakistan’s electric vehicle market is set for another major shake-up as Nishat Motors officially launches the Jaecoo J5 Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), expanding its electric SUV lineup and intensifying competition in the country’s growing crossover segment.

The company, the official distributor of Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles in Pakistan, announced the new electric SUV’s prices and booking details on Friday, November 6, 2026, at noon.

The launch marks another step in the company’s push to strengthen its presence in Pakistan’s rapidly evolving electric vehicle market.

The introduction of the Jaecoo J5 BEV adds another electric SUV option for Pakistani consumers as automakers increasingly compete to attract buyers interested in electric mobility.

Moreover, the launch comes amid growing competition in Pakistan’s electric crossover and SUV segment, where manufacturers are expanding their offerings to capture a larger share of the emerging market.

With the Jaecoo J5 BEV, Nishat Motors aims to broaden its presence in Pakistan’s electric vehicle sector and strengthen its Omoda and Jaecoo portfolio.

The launch is also expected to add momentum to competition among electric vehicle manufacturers as more brands introduce new models to cater to changing consumer preferences.

As Pakistan’s EV market continues to develop, the arrival of another electric SUV could give buyers more choices while putting additional pressure on existing players in the segment.
