Pakistani passport holders can travel to Qatar and obtain a tourist visa on arrival without paying any visa fee, allowing them to stay in the Gulf country for up to 30 days, provided they meet the prescribed entry conditions.

Qatar’s Ministry of Interior has confirmed that the visa-on-arrival facility is also available to nationals of India and Thailand. However, the length of stay permitted for each visitor depends on their confirmed hotel reservation and cannot exceed 30 days.

To benefit from this facility, Pakistani visitors must fulfil four specific conditions before travelling to Qatar.

According to Qatar’s Ministry of Interior, travellers must meet the following requirements to qualify for a free visa on arrival.

Pakistani visitors must hold a passport with at least three months of validity remaining from their date of arrival in Qatar.

They are also required to have a confirmed round-trip flight ticket to qualify for the facility.

Another mandatory condition is a confirmed hotel reservation made exclusively through the official Discover Qatar website. Bookings made through other hotel or travel websites will not be accepted.

In addition, travellers must have valid health insurance issued by an accredited insurance company.

Under this arrangement, Pakistani visitors can stay in Qatar for up to 30 days without paying a visa fee. However, the authorised duration of stay may be shorter depending on the period covered by their confirmed hotel reservation.
