OGRA RLNG Prices

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the prices of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) by a significant 15.27 percent for October compared to September.

According to an official notification issued by OGRA, LNG prices have been increased by up to $2.17 per Million British Thermal Units (MMBtu). Following this decision, new and higher rates have come into effect for consumers on both of the country’s major gas distribution systems.

On the Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) system, LNG prices have increased by $2.13 per MMBtu. Following the increase, the new LNG price on the SNGPL network has been fixed at $17.32 per MMBtu.

On the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) distribution system, LNG prices have increased by $2.17 per MMBtu. Following this revision, the new rate on the SSGC system has reached $16.39 per MMBtu.

The revised rates reflect the month-on-month increase in LNG prices across the distribution systems of both gas companies.

OGRA reviews LNG rates and issues a notification every month due to fluctuations in global energy prices and increases in import costs.
