Speaking at a special session titled “Kahani Se Kirdar Tak” (From Story to Character) during a literary and cultural event in Dubai, Khan addressed various aspects of her career, fame, and aging in the entertainment industry.
The actress expressed a deep appreciation for both her professional success and the affection she receives from her audience, noting that she considers the bond with her fans to be immensely important.
While she appreciates public expressions of love, Khan emphasized her realistic view of showbiz longevity. She stated that she understands fame and success do not last forever, which drives her to keep her focus strictly on the quality of her work.
With notable confidence, Khan explained that she embraces her current age and life stage completely. She stated that she does not worry about the inevitable time when leading heroine roles stop coming her way. Instead, she noted that she feels that time is actually drawing near and that she feels entirely at peace with the transition.
Concluding her remarks, Khan made a direct appeal to film directors and producers to expand their casting horizons. Rather than confining her to conventional leading lady characters, she urged them to cast her in diverse and unique roles.
