imran Khan’s eye sight recovering ,says medical report

slamabad: A team of specialist doctors from PIMS and Al-Shifa International conducted a complete and detailed medical examination of Imran Khan in jail.The medical team expressed full satisfaction with the ongoing treatment . After visiting Adiala Jail, the board briefed Barrister Gohar and Raja Nasir Abbas at PIMS Hospital on the 15th from 9:00 pm to 10:20 pm.


The medical team also briefed his personal physicians, Dr. Asim Yousaf and Dr. Khurram Mirza, over the phone for more than 25 minutes. According to the report, party leaders and personal doctors expressed complete satisfaction and confidence in the treatment. The medical report was prepared by Professor Nadeem Qureshi and signed by Professor Arif Khan as well.


Professor Nadeem Qureshi is the Head of Retina at Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, while Professor Arif Khan is the Head of Ophthalmology at PIMS.


According to the report, Imran Khan’s unaided vision in the right eye is 6/24 (partial), and 6/9 in the left eye. With glasses, the right eye’s vision improves to 6/9, while the left eye achieves 6/6. A slit-lamp examination found the anterior segments and corneas of both eyes to be completely clear. The vitreous was clear with slight haze, and mild internal spots were observed in one area.
