Islamabad: In the Toshakhana Case Two, the objections raised by the Registrar’s Office on the petition seeking suspension of the sentence and release on bail of the PTI founder could not be resolved.
According to sources, the objections raised by the Registrar’s Office of the Islamabad High Court on the main appeal in the Toshakhana Case Two were not removed within the stipulated time.
The Registrar’s Office stated that the petitioner failed to address the objections on the main appeal within the given timeframe. The objections were required to be resolved within seven days.
It was further stated that the deadline for removing the objections had now expired. As long as objections remain pending on the appeal, how could the request for suspension of sentence be filed?
