Honda Atlas has unveiled a new variant of the 6th generation City named Aspire S. The company also rolled out a facelift for the 1.2 CVT Special Edition and the 1.5 Aspire.
The move comes almost four years after the 6th generation City entered Pakistan in 2021. Many buyers had expected the 7th generation model that has been on sale in global markets since 2021.
What the new Aspire-S adds
Aspire S arrives with visual and functional upgrades. Additionally, the front carries a new Honda emblem. In addition, two new exterior colours join the palette named Canyon River Blue and Ignite Red.
A black trunk spoiler features an LED high mount stop lamp. Furthermore, a black shark fin antenna sits on the roof. Lighting shifts to full LED for headlamps rear lamps and fog lamps.
Door mirrors are finished in black. Door handles get a fresh chrome look. Moreover, front and rear chrome garnish pieces add contrast. While, alloy wheels receive an updated colour finish to round off the stance.
Cabin comfort of Honda City Aspire and safety tech
Inside the cabin the seats use hi grade fabric in a new pattern. The steering wheel is leather wrapped with baseball stitching. The gear selector carries the same stitching theme.
Tweeters are added to improve audio clarity. Safety hardware receives an upgrade as ABS with EBD now pairs with the ESP 9.3 modulator.
The package targets better braking performance and improved vehicle control. These steps aim to raise daily comfort while offering a more planted feel on busy city roads.
Market reactions on Honda City Aspire
The decision to continue with the 6th generation has revived the debate on a full model change. Fans still hope for a true generational shift while Honda Atlas positions Aspire S to keep the City competitive in 2025.
