Web desk: On October 1, 2025, security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Khuzdar District of Balochistan after reports of the presence of militants linked to the Indian proxy group, “Fitna al Hindustan.”
During the raid, four terrorists attempting to escape while disguised in women’s clothing were captured. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered.
According to officials, the arrested men were involved in several acts of terrorism in the area. A clearance operation is continuing to trace any other militants in the surroundings.
Security forces reaffirmed their determination to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country and to bring all those responsible for such acts to justice.
Just a day earlier, security personnel had foiled a major attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters following a suicide explosion outside the compound in the city.
The blast occurred at 11:36 am on September 30, after which five armed Khawarij militants tried to storm the facility.
Quick action by the security personnel stopped the assailants from entering, and all five were killed near the outer wall.
Heavy weapons, explosives, and ammunition were seized from the attackers. Security officials said the assault was linked to Indian-backed proxy groups operating in Pakistan, with the militants connected to the network known as “Fitna al-Khawarij.”
The group has been blamed for repeated cross-border terrorism. Sources also revealed that over the past month, more than 60 members of this network had already been eliminated in different operations across the Zhob district.
They added that the swift response this time had averted what could have been a large-scale tragedy.
