A private company’s outdoor SMD screen has been hacked in Karachi, on Wednesday.

According to the reports, a clip of an X-rated film was run on an outdoor SMD screen in Karachi, which is owned by a Private Company, and it was hacked.

NCCIA sources say hackers might be linked to a certain Political Party. Further investigations ongoing into the matter.

According to new details, a digital terrorist attack was carried out on the SMD screens installed on a well-known street in Karachi, after which immoral content was played on them for a few minutes.

As soon as the authorities received the information, they immediately took action. Afterwards, the screens were shut down.

This incident reminds us that we have to protect our land borders as well as our digital borders. For this, it is very important to control all external traffic.
