Islamabad: A court has issued non-bailable warrants against Imran Khan’s lawyer, ordering their arrest and presentation before the court.
According to sources, the hearing took place in the Anti-Terrorism Court Islamabad concerning a case against PTI lawyers over the alleged assault of Khawar Maneka.
During the hearing, the court issued non-bailable warrants for PTI founder’s lawyer, Fateh Ullah Burki, and ordered him to be arrested and produced in court.
The hearing was presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra of the Anti-Terrorism Court, with Zahid Bashir Dar, Ansar Kayani, and other accused appearing in court. PTI lawyers were represented by Komal Jadun Advocate.
The case, registered at Secretariat Police Station, involves allegations of assault on Khawar Maneka by the PTI lawyers.
Tensions reportedly escalated over court proceedings, resulting in physical altercations that led to formal complaints being lodged at the Secretariat Police Station. The case has drawn nationwide attention due to the high-profile nature of the individuals involved.
