NADRA Announces New Online CNIC Renewal Process

Islamabad: The latest updates for renewal of CNICs online has been announced by The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).

The update was shared by NADRA on social media. As per details they advised the citizens to submit applications for CNIC renewal through Pak ID mobile app. After that they will be able to receive the updated card at their homes.

How to Renew

You will have to use the NADRA Pak Identity Mobile App or the Pak Identity Website to renew the CNIC online. After accessing the app or the website the user will either have to register or log in. After logging in the user can select the renewal option, fill out the application. To complete the application the user will have to provide a photo, his fingerprints and a required fee. After that the renewed CNIC will be delivered to the provided address.

How to Use the Pak Identity Mobile App

  1. Download and register: Download the Pak ID app and register if you do not have an account.
  2. Start application: To renew your CNIC select “Apply ID Card” and then choose the renewal option.
  3. Provide information: Some necessary details need to be filled by you and then you will have to verify your fingerprints and capture your photo.
  4. Submit and pay: Once all the above-mentioned steps are finished, submit the application and pay the fees through the app.

How to use the Pak Identity Website

  1. Visit the website: Sign up or login after accessing the Pak Identity website.
  2. Start renewal: Find the option that says “My CNIC has expired” and start the application.
  3. Fill the form: A form will appear on the screen please fill it accurately.
  4. Pay the fee: You will have to make the payment online.
  5. Wait for delivery: Eventually your renewed CNIC will be delivered to your location.
