Lahore: Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Multan Sultans on Thursday criticised the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for issuing a legal notice to team owner Ali Tareen, calling the move “regrettable” and “narrow-minded.”
In an official statement, the franchise said that after taking charge of Multan Sultans, Ali Tareen invested billions of rupees in developing the team and cricket infrastructure across Pakistan. “Ali Tareen personally bore losses of over seven billion rupees and established cricket academies nationwide, creating new opportunities for young players,” the statement said.
