Web Desk: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Khyber district, the groom’s car met with an accident, resulting in the deaths of five friends, including two brothers, while the groom miraculously remained safe.
The accident occurred due to overspeeding near Bab-e-Khyber, where a car and a truck collided in a horrific crash.
According to rescue sources, the groom was to be married today. The accident happened when his friends were taking him back home after getting him ready at a salon. As a result of the crash, the car was completely destroyed.
Upon receiving information, rescue teams and police reached the scene immediately. The bodies were recovered from the vehicle and shifted to the nearby Jamrud Hospital.
According to police, preliminary investigations indicate overspeeding and negligence as the cause of the accident, while further investigations are ongoing.
