Ducky Bhai

Saad ur Rehman alias Ducky Bhai’s request for the release of his YouTube channel and mobile phones was dismissed by a judicial magistrate on Tuesday.

The decision was announced by Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo on the content creator’s application.

However, it was ordered by the magistrate that the 19 items recovered during a search be given back to the YouTuber.

The items that will be released include identity cards, bank cards, a GoPro camera, a laptop bag and other personal belongings.

The court had been approached by Ducky Bhai, who was seeking the release of his seized belongings, including his YouTube channel and his mobile phones.

The request was, however, declined by the magistrate. The magistrate did allow some selected personal items to be given back to Ducky Bhai.

It was also pointed out during the hearing that Ducky Bhai had already started uploading on his YouTube account. The prosecutor raised the issue that the account is part of an ongoing case. Concern was also shared by the Assistant Director of NCCIA that the YouTuber might tamper with or delete the videos related to the case.

In response to this, Ducky Bhai clarified to the court that he had submitted an affidavit in which he promised no videos would be altered. He further explained that the videos were uploaded by his editor. A friend of his is living in Hyderabad.

The content creator was arrested by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in August. It was a case of alleged promotion of gambling apps on social media.

Ducky Bhai was released on bail on November 24 by the Lahore High Court.
