Karachi: Pak Suzuki Motor Company has announced new prices for its popular Suzuki Cultus hatchback for the 2026 model year, raising the cost of the top variant to nearly 4.6 million rupees as inflation and production costs continue to pressure Pakistan’s auto market.

The updated price list applies to all three variants of the locally assembled small car, which remains a key seller in the urban commuter segment.

Prices rise across all variants

According to the company, the manual Cultus VXR is now priced at 4.089 million rupees, while the mid-range VXL variant costs 4.359 million rupees.

Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line Cultus equipped with an Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission has been priced at 4,591,460 rupees, marking the highest price point yet for the model.

The company did not specify reasons for the increase but cited standard pricing adjustments for the new model year.

Immediate delivery promised, stock dependent

A Pak Suzuki spokesperson said all Cultus variants are available for immediate delivery. However, the spokesperson added that final availability will depend on stock levels at local dealerships across the country.

Automakers in Pakistan have struggled in recent years with supply chain disruptions, currency volatility and fluctuating demand, often leading to long delivery times.

Engine and efficiency remain unchanged

Despite the price hike, Pak Suzuki has kept the mechanical specifications unchanged. All Cultus variants continue to feature a 998cc petrol engine, which has helped the car maintain its reputation for good fuel economy and low maintenance costs.

These factors have made the Cultus a popular choice among middle-income buyers and daily commuters.

Safety and comfort features highlighted

Higher-end variants of the Cultus come equipped with two airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS) and alloy wheels, the company said. In addition, all variants include an engine immobilizer as a standard security feature.

Pak Suzuki markets the Cultus as a practical urban vehicle, citing its comfortable ride and strong performance in congested city traffic. The new prices take effect immediately.
