How to Keep the Digestive System Healthy During Eid ul Adha?

Medical experts recommend paying special attention to salad and raita while preparing meals during Eid ul Adha. Include raw vegetables in the salad, as they are extremely beneficial for health. Raita made with yogurt, mint, and green chili is excellent for digestion and stomach health.

Avoid carbonated drinks such as cola and other sweet beverages.

Eat every bite slowly and chew properly.

Avoid tea, black coffee, or caffeinated drinks, and instead use green tea 2 to 3 times a day.

Eat only when you feel hungry.

Keep at least an 8-hour gap between meals.

Exercise and walking are essential, as they help burn extra calories consumed through food and make the body feel lighter.

Continue consuming fiber in your diet. If you do not want to eat vegetables and pulses for a few days, then use psyllium husk with water, milk, or fruit juice.

Drink 4 large glasses of water early in the morning on an empty stomach.

Keep yourself as active as possible.

Eat fruits directly instead of drinking their juice.

Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily.
