Sohail Afridi’s meeting with The PM is a good omen,says Amir MuqamAfridi for a meeting with the Prime Minister, though delayed, is a a good gesture .


Amir Muqam stated that CM Suhail Afridi was warmly welcomed and thanked upon his arrival. He added that while we all have our own political parties and affiliations, ultimately we are all part of one Pakistan, and agreeing on national interests is unavoidable.


The federal minister said that during the meeting, detailed discussions were held with the KP Chief Minister on the issue of terrorism. Suhail Afridi himself admitted that terrorists have occupied people’s homes in some areas, which is a concerning situation.


Amir Muqam said that after the APS tragedy, the National Action Plan was formulated, and even in the current circumstances, we must set aside our politics and prioritize national security. For the country’s interests, political differences must be put aside.


He further added that during the meeting, Suhail Afridi also raised the province’s financial issues and the federal government’s dues. The federal government also wishes to provide Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with maximum resources.
The federal minister stated that solutions to issues are possible only through mutual consultation and sitting together, as this is the way forward for progress.
