DUBAI: Pakistan has won the U19 Asia Cup final by crushing India. Pakistan gave an enormous target of 347 runs. As a response, the Indian team was able to make only 156 runs, resulting in Pakistan’s 191 win by runs.
Sameer Minhas, Pakistan’s in-form opener, scored a brilliant century. He dominated the Indian rivals completely. Pakistan was in a very strong position by the end of the 29th over. They were standing at 192 for 2. Sameer Minhas scored 172 runs. With 9 sixes and 17 fours. He scored 103 of 73 balls, and is the highest scoring batter of this tournament.
Other than Sameer, Ahmed Hussain also scored 56, and Pakistan was able to score 347 runs.
The Pakistani bowlers were as good as the batsmen. Ali Raza took 4 wickets in 6.2 overs. Mohammad Sayyam took 2 wickets in 5 overs.
All bowlers bowled very well, and India was all out within 26 overs.
