Lohi Bher assault: Video of victim girl surfaces

ISLAMABAD: A video statement of a girl, who was assaulted and humiliated by influential suspects in the Lohi Bher area, has surfaced. Police have arrested five individuals, including two women, in connection with the incident.

According to reports, the victim, Iman, released a video statement in which she detailed the events surrounding the assault.

The girl stated that the assault and hair-cutting incident occurred about one and a half months ago. She said a boy named Arman and a girl named Sana took her from her home to a flat on Masrial Road, where she was physically abused and her hair was cut. A video of the incident was also recorded.

Iman further stated that she was taken to the flat in a private housing society, where she was threatened and intimidated. Others present at the flat included Arman, Durani, Mithu, and an unidentified accomplice.

She added that she later learned her video had been circulated online and demanded immediate action against the suspects.

Meanwhile, SSP Operations took notice of the incident and ordered that an immediate case be registered against the suspects and that they be arrested.

Lohi Bher police acted swiftly to apprehend the main suspects. Police sources noted that a massage center had misrepresented the incident as occurring in Islamabad for personal gain.

The police traced both the victim and the main suspects. The victim confirmed the incident took place about one and a half months ago in Dhoke Khbha.

A total of five individuals, including two women, have been arrested. One of the women worked as an employee at a salon in Lohi Bher. All salon staff have been taken into custody and are under investigation.

Reports suggest that the suspects tried to pressure the girl into a sexual relationship. When she refused, they resorted to the assault and other abusive actions.
