Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the Kashmir issue needs to be resolved in accordance with United Nations resolutions, adding that Gaza has become the most inhumane and shameful detention camp of our era.

Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Gaza has become the most inhumane and shameful detention camp of our time, adding that the number of people martyred in Gaza has exceeded 1,500 since the ceasefire.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that terrorism by Jewish settlers continues in the West Bank, while Muslims are being denied access to holy sites in occupied Jerusalem. He added that the Palestinian resistance has agreed to the peace plan, while Israel is refusing to end its occupation of Gaza.

He said that Turkiye had established a defence alliance with Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, adding that the purpose of the defence alliance was to strengthen unity. He said the alliance was formed to find solutions to regional issues within the region itself.

The Turkish president said that the Kashmir issue needs to be resolved in accordance with United Nations resolutions, adding that Turkiye would become a voice for a free Palestine.
