Web Desk: Pakistan Air Force will conduct a scheduled “Marqa E Haq” flypast exercise in Islamabad airspace on Friday morning, as part of routine training and preparations for an upcoming national event.

Officials said residents may notice increased activity involving fighter jets and other military aircraft during the exercise window. They stressed that the aerial maneuvers form part of standard operational readiness drills.

The flypast exercise will begin early in the morning and proceed across designated air corridors over the capital. Authorities did not specify the exact duration but said operations would be tightly coordinated to minimize disruption to civilian air traffic.

In a statement, officials said the exercise aims to enhance coordination, precision, and readiness of participating air units. They added that such drills are conducted periodically as part of broader defence preparedness protocols.

Authorities urged residents to remain calm and continue their normal activities, noting there is no cause for concern. They also advised the public not to circulate unverified information regarding the increased air activity.

The exercise comes ahead of a national event for which preparations are underway, with aerial displays expected to form part of the program.
