The Frontier Corps (FC) swiftly repaired and restored a bridge damaged by Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) terrorists on the N-40 highway near Panjpai, ahead of Mastung, using its machinery and manpower.
After the bridge was damaged, the FC promptly launched repair work and completed the restoration, following which traffic on the highway resumed.
Local residents expressed happiness over the timely restoration of the bridge and thanked the Frontier Corps.
Repair Work Using Machinery and Manpower
As soon as the damage to the bridge was reported, the FC began repair work. Personnel used machinery and available equipment to repair the affected section, minimising disruption to traffic on the highway.
Photographs taken during and after the repair work have also emerged, showing the machinery used for restoration and FC personnel engaged in the work.
The swift repair of the bridge helped prevent potential difficulties for travellers using the N-40 and avoid a prolonged disruption to traffic.
On the occasion, local residents said, “We were very worried after the bridge was damaged. Thankfully, the FC’s efforts have restored it, and we are very grateful.”
Residents added, “The FC helped the public overcome a difficult situation during challenging circumstances. We thank the force for promptly repairing the road.”
It is worth noting that the N-40 is considered one of Balochistan’s important highways. It connects various areas and is also used by passenger and freight vehicles. However, BLA terrorists attempted to damage the highway, causing inconvenience to the public, but FC Balochistan thwarted the terrorists’ nefarious intentions.
