The vehicle has a total driving range of up to 1,100 kilometers
At the ongoing auto show at Expo Centre Lahore, BYD has introduced the SEALION 6, the first locally assembled vehicle in Pakistan, along with its new models.
According to the company, local assembly is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year. The vehicle features Super DM-i technology and has a total driving range of up to 1,100 kilometers.
At the auto show, BYD showcased a new tlineup of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. The exhibition featured the BYD Atto 2, BYD Shark 6 Anniversary Edition, SEALION 6, and Denza B8.
It is worth noting that the three-day Pakistan International Auto Show 2026 has officially begun at the Lahore Expo Centre, with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif arriving at the Expo Centre and inaugurating the “Pakistan International Auto Show 2026.”
Representatives and owners of the tractor manufacturing industry appreciated the launch of the Chief Minister’s Green Tractor Scheme. Representatives of tractor manufacturing companies said that the Green Tractor Scheme had enabled the tractor manufacturing industry to stand on its own feet, while Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s Green Tractor Scheme had promoted local tractor manufacturing.
The Pakistan International Auto Show 2026 is being held in Hall 4 of the Expo Centre, with local and foreign companies participating extensively. The auto show has 150 exhibitors, including 44 international and 43 local exhibitors.
Prominent auto brands including Suzuki, Kia, GAC, Chery, Sazgar, BYD, G-Tour, Hyundai and Honda have set up stalls at the auto show.
Cars, motorcycles, electric and semi-electric vehicles, and local auto parts have been put on display at the auto show.
