Web Desk: Pak Suzuki has reduced the promotional price of its Suzuki Fronx GLX 6AT Hybrid by Rs300,000 following a government change in the sales tax applicable to hybrid electric vehicles.

The automaker informed its authorised dealerships about the revised pricing in a notification dated Sept. 17, 2026. The new rate took effect from Sept. 13.

Under the revised pricing structure, the standard Suzuki Fronx GLX 6AT Hybrid will now be offered at Rs6,399,999, down from Rs6,699,999.

The two-tone version has also received the same Rs300,000 reduction, bringing its promotional price to Rs6,474,999 from Rs6,774,999.

The latest price adjustment follows the government’s revision of sales tax treatment for hybrid vehicles.

The move has prompted price changes across parts of Pakistan’s automotive market, with manufacturers revising prices for some hybrid models after the updated tax structure.

Pak Suzuki has now passed the impact of the tax adjustment on to the Fronx Hybrid’s promotional retail price.

Despite the reduction, buyers should note that Pak Suzuki has described the new rate as a promotional price rather than a permanent change.

The company said the revised price is valid from Sept. 13 and will remain available only for a limited period. The advertised amount also excludes Advance Income Tax.

Moreover, the price applicable to a customer will be the one in effect when the vehicle is invoiced or delivered. Any subsequent increase in government taxes, duties, levies or other statutory charges will be payable by the customer.

The two-tone exterior option carries an additional Rs75,000 compared with the mono-tone version.

Prospective Fronx Hybrid buyers should confirm the final cost with an authorised dealership before placing an order or making payment.

The total amount may depend on several factors, including Advance Income Tax, the selected colour configuration and any government charges applicable when the vehicle is invoiced.

Customers should also confirm the expected delivery schedule and ask whether the promotional price will remain applicable at the time of invoicing.

Pak Suzuki’s latest move brings the promotional price of the Fronx GLX 6AT Hybrid down to Rs6,399,999, representing a Rs300,000 reduction from its earlier listed price.

However, the promotional nature of the offer means buyers should verify the final invoice value with the dealership, particularly because the price applicable at invoicing or delivery may differ from the booking-time price.
