Security forces killed 10 Khawarij during operations in different areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while six brave soldiers were martyred.
According to the ISPR, during various clashes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from September 15 to 17, 2026, 10 Khawarij belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij, which is being sponsored by India, were killed, while six brave sons of the soil embraced martyrdom.
According to the ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan following information about the presence of Khawarij.
During the operation, the troops effectively targeted the Khawarij hideouts and, following an intense exchange of fire, killed six members of Fitna al-Khawarij, which is sponsored by India.
According to the ISPR, in another clash in Hangu, brave soldiers of the Pakistan Army killed four more Khawarij.
According to the ISPR, on September 17, 2026, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded on a security forces convoy, resulting in six brave sons of the soil sacrificing their lives and embracing martyrdom.
According to the ISPR, weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the India-backed Khawarij killed in the operations. These Khawarij had been actively involved in multiple terrorist activities in the area.
According to the ISPR, clearance operations are being conducted to eliminate the India-backed Khawarij present in the area.
The counterterrorism campaign by security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue at full pace under Operation Azm-e-Istehkam, which was approved by the federal apex committee on the National Action Plan, to root out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
The ISPR said that the sacrifices of the country’s brave soldiers further strengthen the unwavering resolve to protect the nation at all costs.
