Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar said that Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khan will not be able to meet the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder in Adiala jail. He also confirmed that the meetings of those who violate the meeting rules will not be possible as well.

While holding a press conference along with Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar, Federal Information Minister Atta Tarar said that the three sisters of the founder of PTI created a law and order situation outside the prison. He also stated that the meetings with those who have violated the law are banned. Uzma Khan’s meetings have also been banned from today, and the prison superintendent is bound to enforce the law, Tarar added.

The information minister also announced, “There is no room in the [prison] rules for political discussions, and it was reported that political discussions occurred, so meetings are now banned for Uzma Khan. This won’t happen.”

The federal minister mentioned that a chance was provided, and now “the meeting has been banned for whoever committed the violation.”

“There is zero room for a circus,” Tarar said.

The law minister said prison rules for meetings have not changed and explained the limits on how they can take place.
