ChatGPT Helps Firefighter Win £40,000 Court Case

A firefighter recovered £40,000 from his former girlfriend with the help of ChatGPT.

According to a report by British media, a firefighter in the United Kingdom sought help from ChatGPT to avoid hefty legal fees and represented himself in court, eventually recovering £40,000 from his former girlfriend.

The report said that Craig Tuchner gave the money to his girlfriend in 2022 for investment. The two had agreed to invest the money in Premium Bonds and share the profits. However, a dispute arose over the return of the money after their relationship ended.

According to the report, after consulting legal experts, Craig Tuchner turned to ChatGPT for guidance because of the high legal fees. Craig Tuchner said ChatGPT helped him complete the necessary forms and understand the steps involved in presenting his case in court.

He said that without ChatGPT’s help, he might not have won the case. However, the legal decision was made by the court based on the evidence presented.

The man’s former girlfriend claimed that the money had been given to her as a gift, but she failed to prove her claim in court and did not provide bank statements. Therefore, based on all the evidence, the court ruled in favour of Craig Tuchner.
