Tariq Fazal chaudhry about imran khan

Islamabad — Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry stated that politicizing the pain of the PTI founder is a “criminal attempt.” He said that treatment was carried out at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) on the recommendation of jail authorities and the government, and that every possible medical facility would continue to be provided in the future.

Speaking to the media, he said that if any prisoner was not being properly cared for,the authorities should then be held responsible. He added that there was no personal enmity with Imran Khan, clarifying that the differences were purely political.

Tariq Fazal Chaudhry further said that it was PTI that turned political differences into personal hostility. He maintained that the PTI founder was serving his sentence and that using his illness for political purposes was inappropriate.

He said treatment at PIMS Hospital was conducted on the directions of jail authorities and the government, and that a super specialist also prepared a medical report regarding the PTI founder’s health. He added that the Supreme Court of Pakistan Chief Justice was personally overseeing the case, and wherever instructed, arrangements would be made for his eye examination.

Calling the matter sensitive, he urged that facts should not be distorted. He assured that the best eye specialists would be consulted and that all possible treatment would be ensured. He also acknowledged that protest was the right of parliamentarians but emphasized that the issue should not be politicized.
