Successful Operations of Security Forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 34 Fitna-ul-Khwaraj Terrorists Killed, ISPR

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, a total of 34 Fitnah-ul-Khwarij terrorists were killed by security forces in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while conducting major operations against Fitnah-ul-Khwarij terrorists on the basis of intelligence. According to the ISPR statement, the biggest operation was carried out in Spinwam area of North Waziristan, where an intelligence based operation was conducted on a terrorist hideout. During the operation, there was a fierce exchange of fire between the security forces and the terrorists, in which 18 terrorists were killed. In addition, 8 terrorists were killed in the operation in South Waziristan, while 8 terrorists were killed in another operation carried out in the Bannu region. All actions were based on verified intelligence reports. ISPR states that these operations were carried out in line with the vision of ‘Sustainability‘, aimed at eradicating Indian sponsored terrorism and establishing lasting peace in the country. Forces are determined to root out all forms of terrorism and with the cooperation of the people, anti-peace elements will continue to be eliminated. According to the ISPR, all the terrorists killed were involved in attacks on security forces, innocent civilians and law enforcement agencies. Arms, ammunition and other equipment used in terrorism have also been recovered during the operations. The people of the area have appreciated these actions of the security forces and have expressed their determination to stand by their side.
