Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has been discharged from Sharif Medical City Hospital and shifted home after a successful throat surgery, where her condition is said to be improving.
Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, in her message on social media platform X, said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz continued to directly monitor security, sanitation and other administrative affairs in the province from the hospital even on Eid ul Adha.
According to Marriyum Aurangzeb, the Punjab Chief Minister underwent a major surgery at Sharif Medical City Hospital, which was successful, after which she was shifted home.
According to sources within Pakistan Muslim League (N), Maryam Nawaz Sharif had been suffering from severe throat pain, due to which doctors had recommended surgery.
Sources said that the Punjab Chief Minister’s condition is better after the surgery and doctors have advised her to rest.
All members of the Punjab cabinet, opposition members and party workers have expressed their concerns and extended their well wishes for the speedy recovery of Punjab CM.
