The squad for the Pakistan Under-19 team’s tour of England has been announced.
According to a private news channel, the Pakistan Under-19 team will play one Youth Test and four ODIs from September 2 to 16. Farhan Yousaf will captain the Under-19 team during the tour of England.
Abdul Qadir, Jahangir, Hayam, Alyan, Hasnain and Rizwan are likely to make their debuts.
Abdul Subhan, Ahmed Hussain, Hamza, Siam and Huzaifa are also part of the squad, while Naqab Shafiq, Umar Zaib and Usman Khan have also been included in the team.
The Youth Test match will be played in England from September 2 to 5.
The four-match ODI series will be played from September 9 to 16, while the Under-19 team will depart from Lahore for England on Sunday.
Day 1 of Lords Test (Pakistan vs England)
England finished the first day of the Lord’s Test on 248 for 9.
Play on the first day of the second Test between Pakistan and England was called off due to bad light.
England scored 248 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their first innings.
Jamie Smith was the top scorer with 61 runs, while Jordan Cox made 55. Gus Atkinson scored 34, while Lawrence and Ben Duckett contributed 17 runs each.
For Pakistan, Mohammad Abbas took four wickets and Mohammad Ali claimed three wickets. Salman Ali Agha also took an excellent catch at slip.
Earlier, captain Babar Azam won the toss and elected to field first, a decision that the bowlers proved right.
There was one change in Pakistan’s playing XI, with Babar Azam returning in place of Salman Ali Agha. As a result, the captain who led the team in the Leeds Test has been dropped from the Lord’s Test.
