Punjab Information and Culture Minister Azma Bukhari said the truth behind fake videos circulated by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) regarding its protests had been exposed.
An old video of a boiler in Jamshoro was attributed to the PTI protest in Peshawar, while an Indian citizen, Ashok Swain, attributed a video of a protest at Jantar Mantar to the Islamabad protest, she said.
Azma Bukhari said, “Fake leadership, fake revolution, fake protest! Next time, hold a rally on the moon as well and use a NASA video.”
She added that when terrorists were safe under the protection of a provincial government, police were unarmed, and the public was left at their mercy, an emergency was inevitable.
The Punjab information minister said that a chief minister who lacked respect for the national anthem and the national flag was deserving of contempt.
“What has the PTI government given this province in 13 years? How the PTI government has treated the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is as clear as daylight,” she said.
