40 PTI MNAs Won’t Resign, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry Claims Forward Bloc in PTI

Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has claimed that a forward bloc is emerging within the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the National Assembly and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly. He said that if PTI decided to resign, more than 40 members of the National Assembly would not support the move.

According to details, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said PTI’s politics of arson and violence had failed and that the party’s true face had been exposed. He said people were fed up with its policies.

He claimed that 40 PTI members of the National Assembly would not resign, adding that party members had repeatedly regretted resigning in the past. He said PTI had become unpopular even among its own members.

He further said the possibility of a forward bloc in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly was also significant, questioning how long anyone could continue supporting politics of unrest, chaos and disruption.

It is worth mentioning that President Asif Ali Zardari signed the order imposing governor’s rule and an emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the previous day. Following the move, several PTI leaders, including Sohail Afridi, were taken into custody.
