New Guinness record: 254 toilet paper rolls balanced on forehead

A new record has been set for balancing 254 toilet paper rolls on the forehead.

David Rush, who has set more than 200 Guinness World Records, broke his own previous record by balancing 254 toilet paper rolls on his head for one minute and 12 seconds.

Rush first set the record for balancing the largest number of toilet paper rolls on his head in 2021, when he managed to balance 101 rolls.

The record was later taken away from him. However, in May 2025, he reclaimed the title by balancing 195 toilet paper rolls on his head.

Rush has now improved the record once again. During a successful attempt in October 2025, he balanced 254 toilet paper rolls on his forehead.

Writing about the achievement online, Rush said that stacking 254 rolls on top of one another required cardboard dividers, assistance from several people to lift the structure, and complete confidence, all with the permission and in accordance with the regulations of Guinness World Records.

During the first attempt, the balance began to wobble, as it usually does, and hundreds of rolls fell onto the wooden floor.

Rush succeeded on his second attempt, balancing the tower of toilet paper on his forehead for much longer than the 30-second minimum required by Guinness World Records.

He successfully kept the tower balanced for 1 minute and 12 seconds, setting a new record.
