Ministry confirms Hajj flights will operate as planned

Web Desk: Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs has rejected reports about the suspension of Hajj flights. The ministry said the claims circulating on social media are false. Meanwhile officials confirmed that preparations for Hajj 2026 continue as planned. Therefore pilgrims do not need to worry.

A spokesperson for the ministry said some groups spread rumors through social media and other unverified sources. As a result many users believed that Hajj flights could face delays or cancellation. However the spokesperson said these claims are baseless and misleading.

Officials said the arrangements for Hajj 2026 continue according to schedule. In addition they explained that global conditions have not disrupted the planning process. So far authorities have reported no obstacles in the preparations.

The ministry continues to work with relevant departments to complete all arrangements on time. At the same time officials remain in contact with different institutions involved in the Hajj operation.

Authorities are finalizing accommodation for Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah in Saudi Arabia. In addition officials are arranging transport meals and other essential services. As a result these steps will help provide comfortable facilities for pilgrims during their stay.

The spokesperson said the government plans to improve management during the Hajj operation. For this purpose authorities will introduce modern systems to manage pilgrim movement accommodation and medical services.

Officials also remain in contact with Saudi authorities. Meanwhile both sides want to ensure that all arrangements follow international rules and the planned schedule.

The ministry advised pilgrims and their families to rely only on official information sources. For example updates and guidance for Hajj 2026 are available through official announcements the ministry website and the Pak Hajj mobile application.

Officials also warned people not to trust unverified reports or social media rumors. Otherwise such information can create unnecessary concern among pilgrims.

The ministry said Hajj operations require large scale planning. Therefore authorities start preparations months in advance. At the same time officials continue to complete every stage of the process according to schedule.

Finally the government said it remains committed to providing the best possible facilities for Pakistani pilgrims during Hajj 2026. In this way officials want to ensure that the journey remains safe smooth and well organized. Consequently the Ministry of Religious Affairs aviation authorities and other government departments continue to work together to achieve this goal.
