Retailers in various countries have started special discount sales to clear their iPhone 17 series stock.
Prices of the iPhone 17 series have been significantly reduced in various countries ahead of the expected launch of the iPhone 18 series.
According to foreign media reports, Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 and the new foldable iPhone on September 9. Ahead of the arrival of the new series, retailers in various countries have started special discount sales to clear their iPhone 17 series stock.
According to the report, Amazon in the UK has further increased discounts on the iPhone 17 series. The prices of the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max have been reduced by £150, equivalent to more than Rs56,000, compared with their launch prices, while the price of the standard iPhone 17 has also been reduced by £100, equivalent to more than Rs37,000.
Similarly, the price of the 512GB iPhone Air model has been reduced by £200, equivalent to more than Rs112,000.
In European countries, prices of the iPhone 17 series have also seen reductions of €100 to €150, equivalent to approximately Rs32,000 to Rs50,000.
According to Forbes, after the announcement of the iPhone 18 series on September 9, the current iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models are likely to be discontinued from the market. In such a situation, the current discounts could prove to be the last opportunity for consumers to purchase the iPhone 17 Pro.
On the other hand, reports are claiming that the price of the iPhone 18 Pro, compared with the current models could be $100 to $200 higher than that of the current models.
