Web desk: The last solar eclipse of the year will take place tomorrow on Sunday, but people in Pakistan will not be able to see it as it will occur during nighttime.
Officials at the Meteorological Department’s Climate Data Processing Centre said the eclipse will begin at 10:39pm Pakistan time, reach its peak at 12:41am, and end at 2:54am. The event will mostly be visible in the southern hemisphere.
Experts noted that the shadow will fall over less populated regions, meaning only about 16.6 million people in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji will be able to witness it directly.
Although it cannot be observed in Pakistan, the official timings for the eclipse have been shared for reference. It will start at 10:30pm on September 21, peak at 12:42am on September 22, and conclude at 2:54am.
The eclipse will be visible across parts of the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Antarctica, and Australia. Viewers in these regions can watch the phenomenon in person, while those in Pakistan will have to follow it through online streams and international coverage.
