WEBDESK: A significant development took place in the murder case of social media influencer Sana Yusuf, as the Islamabad District and Sessions Court formally indicted the accused, Umar Hayat.
The hearing was presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka.
During the proceedings, the judge asked Umar Hayat whether he had killed Sana Yusuf. The accused denied the charge, stating, “I did not commit any such crime; all these allegations are false.”
The court further questioned him about the allegation of snatching Sana Yusuf’s mobile phone. Umar Hayat once again rejected the claims, saying the accusations against him were baseless.
After formally framing charges, the court adjourned the hearing until 25 September.
It is worth noting that a murder case against Umar Hayat is registered at Sumbal Police Station.
