Reports have emerged regarding the wedding date of world-renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his fiancée, Georgina Rodríguez.
According to reports, Ronaldo and Georgina, who have been together for a long time, are now set to get married. The couple is reportedly expected to tie the knot on the Portuguese island of Madeira, where Ronaldo was born and raised.
Although Ronaldo and Georgina have not yet officially confirmed the wedding date or venue, British media reports claim that the wedding ceremony is expected to take place on August 8, attracting considerable attention from the worlds of sports and showbiz.
According to the British newspaper The Sun, the wedding ceremony is likely to be held at the historic Funchal Cathedral in the capital city of Madeira, Funchal, followed by a grand reception at the five-star Savoy Palace Hotel.

According to reports, Ronaldo proposed to Georgina last year after they had been in a relationship for around eight years. The 40-year-old footballer presented his Spanish partner with an expensive diamond ring, which Georgina accepted.
Later, Georgina also shared a picture of the diamond ring on Instagram, showing her hand placed over Ronaldo’s hand, with a large diamond ring clearly visible on her finger.
Ronaldo and Georgina’s love story began around eight years ago, when Georgina was working at an outlet of a fashion brand in Madrid. The two were first seen together publicly in 2017.
The couple has five children; however, in April 2022, one of their twins passed away.
