Web Desk: Pakistan ranks as the world’s leading country for YouTube video consumption, with an estimated 560 million videos watched daily, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) Chairman Major General (retd) Hafeez Ur Rehman said.
He shared the figures while briefing the National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication, highlighting the massive scale of YouTube consumption in the country.
According to the PTA chairman, people in Pakistan watch approximately 560 million videos on YouTube every day, placing the country at the top globally in terms of daily video consumption.
The figures underline the growing popularity of digital platforms in Pakistan, where millions of users access online videos for entertainment, education and information.
Hafeez Ur Rehman shared the statistics during a briefing to the National Assembly Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication.
