The ‘Prime Minister’s IT Certification Reimbursement Program’ has been officially launched for IT graduates and professionals, featuring a highly straightforward registration process.
The program has been initiated by the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB)—an entity under the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication—with the primary objective of aligning the professional skills of the youth with global standards.
Candidates to receive PKR 70,000 each
Under this program, candidates who obtain any of the more than 50 approved, world-class IT certifications—including those from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, and Google—will be provided with PKR 70,000 each.
Registration Process
- Interested candidates must first create a profile on the portal (skills.techdestination.com), select their desired certification from the approved list, and submit an application.
- Following the application, candidates will take the examination conducted by the respective global organization. Upon successfully passing the exam, they must upload their official certificate and the fee payment receipt to the portal.
- Once the program’s authorized team verifies the documents, an amount of up to PKR 70,000 will be transferred to the candidate’s account.
- It is mandatory for candidates to submit an application on the portal *before* appearing for the certification examination.
- According to the PSEB, this program will play a pivotal role in enabling the youth to gain a competitive edge in international IT markets, while also expanding the scope of domestic freelancing and software exports.
